Limit for sending mail
You can send mail through our servers using your mail program (SMTP), webmail, or your website. Every day, we count how many emails you send. Once the limit is reached, new emails are refused until the counter resets to zero.
That limit is there to prevent spam. If a password or a form on your website is misused, no more mail can be sent than the limit allows.
How high is my limit?
By default, this is 300 emails per day per package. This applies to everything combined: all your mailboxes, webmail, and your website. Some packages have a lower limit set. You can see your own limit in DirectAdmin under User Statistics, at E-Mails Sent. Per mailbox, you can set a lower limit at Change Limits.
Getting a notification while you're hardly sending anything?
Contact us right away. A mailbox or your website might be misused. In any case, immediately change the passwords of your mailboxes.
Need to send more?
Do you really need to send more mail per day? Contact us, and we'll look at a higher limit together. For newsletters, we recommend a newsletter service. Also read Am I allowed to send a mailing through my hosting package at WebOké?
