Changing the language of DirectAdmin

DirectAdmin is available in many languages, including Dutch, German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish. You can change the language with a single click. This choice only applies to DirectAdmin, not to Mijn WebOké or our website.

Changing the language

1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
2. Click the language button in the top right corner (1). It shows the abbreviation of the current language, for example EN.
3. Choose the language you want. DirectAdmin switches immediately.

DirectAdmin remembers your choice. The next time you log in, you'll see the panel in the same language again.

The language of the login screen

If you log in directly (see Signing in directly on port 2222), you can also choose a language in the top right corner of the login screen. This choice only applies to the login screen.

Some texts remain in English

Not everything in DirectAdmin has been translated. Parts that come from other developers, such as Installatron Applications Installer, Select PHP version, Setup Node.js App, Resource Usage and Imunify360, often have an English name or are partly in English. In this guide, we always use the name you see in the English menu.

Tip: Working with a guide or instructions in English? Then set DirectAdmin to English temporarily. That way, the names in the menu match the instructions.
